Greed in Hana Valley

It has been 9 months since Yami's climactic demise at the hands of Amaterasu and her subsequent departure to the celestial plains.
    However a new evil has arisen in her absence and it is up to her son, Chibiterasu to stop it. After arriving in Nippon, he befriends a young boy named Kuni who claims to be the son of Susano and together they set out on a journey.

In Hana Valley, they confront the reason for the Guardian Sapling's withering there. A gluttenous demon frog named Anura has devoured the sapling's fruit to gain immense powers and set forth his children upoun the lands. Claiming he is unbeatable except by those who have the blood of Nagi, he challenges Kuni to prove his ancestry. At this the frightened boy admits he isn't Susano's son and runs off! 
    But just when Chibi is about to lose, Kuni gains the strength to return and together they defeat the bloated demon despite his claims! Returning the fruit to the tree, he is sapped of his power and destroyed. However, a mysterious monster arrives and devours the evil essence that spews from his corpse....
