The demonic hordes that beseige Nippon are great indeed and none more feirce than those closely involved with the Lord of Darkness himself.
The Spider Queen- a ruthless and bloodthirsty creature of dark Tsuta Ruins.
Crimson Helm- The demon of Taka Pass that has ruled the monsters of that realm for a hundred years and was born from the blood of Orochi.
Blight- A demonic swordsman who spews posionous mist from his innards and who's true form is a corrupted sword.
Orochi- The Eight headed serpent who destroyed the home of the gods and waged war against the realm of mortals in the name of Yami.
Ninetails- The powerful and deceitful fox lord of Oni Island and most trusted general of the Darkness.
Lechku & Nechku- Clockwork statues possessed by demons and wielding the mighty powers over Time and Space.
Yami- The Lord of Everlasting Darkness at the center of it all.

I like how in this game's boss rush area you can choose the order on which X boss to fight first
I usually go in the order you fight them (Spider Queen X, Crimson Helm X, Orochi X, Blight X, and Ninetails X)
On to of that, you can find enemy demon scrolls after defeating the X boss lurking there, where you can fight a random team of the Clay army, Dogu, or Great tengu.
Just watch out, because in Ninetails' room, you may fight a Nagi holigram
